Installation Guide
Click the "Get AutoScroll for Free" button above to open the Chrome Web Store in a new tab.
Click the blue "Add to Chrome" button on the extension page.
The Autoscroll icon will appear in your browser toolbar. Click the puzzle icon to pin it so it stays visible, then tap Autoscroll to start scrolling.
How to Use Autoscroll
After installation, click the Autoscroll icon in your browser toolbar to open the control panel. Use the speed slider to adjust scrolling speed, then click "Scroll Down" or "Scroll Up" to begin. Press the same button again to stop, or use keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+D for down and Alt+Shift+U for up.
Settings & Customization
Click the settings icon in the extension popup to access advanced options. Enable "Rebound at edge" to automatically reverse direction when reaching the top or bottom of a page. Use keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+D for down, Alt+Shift+U for up) for quick control without opening the popup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Some websites use custom scrolling implementations or have anti-automation measures. Autoscroll works best on standard web pages with traditional scrolling behavior. It will provide a warning if Autoscroll is not available.
Use the speed slider in the extension popup with a 1 to 100 range and intuitive speed modes.
Click the Stop button or the same direction shortcut as the one in scroll.
Yes! Autoscroll only runs locally in your browser and doesn't collect or transmit any personal data. All settings are stored locally.
Currently, Autoscroll is only available for desktop Chrome browsers.
